Name Flag
Here you can order a festive and personal flag with a name and date at the bottom. A very special gift for a baby shower, a christening or a naming party. Name flags are also great as a gift for anniversaries and special birthdays.
Production time incl. shipping. approx. 3 -8 business days. We produce all special orders every Monday. They must be fired 1-2 times in the kiln for approx. 16 hours and therefore we send special flags the following Tuesday and Wednesday - Thursday at the latest. We will contact you by text message if we have any questions about your order or if a problem has arisen.
Choose between 2 flag sizes: 16 cm or 21 cm.
Write your name and date in the fields. We will stamp all dates with numbers.
For production reasons we cannot engrave the name and date into the flag. We have chosen to stamp with a special black stamping ink which is burned into the base in the final glaze firing.

A personalized flag cannot be exchanged or canceled unless there has been an error on our part.
We recommend that you place the flag in a safe place so that it does not fall over. It IS ceramic and the beautiful colors attract little fingers and childish souls - who are not always aware that it is not a toy. We have good experience with using a little elephant string or double-sided tape under the bottom - so that your flag stands a little extra securely.
Prices vary so that flags with stripes and hearts cost 100 DKK extra due to a longer glazing time on these flags.

All flags are of course handmade and hand-glazed. We are proud of each piece of ceramic flag and we have thought about how it can be completely special and beautiful. We love diversity and inclusiveness - for us, that is typically Danish.
♥️ Annemette Klit is behind the design of these ceramic flags. She was the first to produce ceramic flags in 2019 and she developed the first ceramic flags in connection with the 100th anniversary celebration of the reunification with South Jutland. Annemette still produces the original ceramic Dannebrog flags in her workshop.
♥️ All flags are handmade and each flag has its own expression, for example, the pole may lean slightly to one side, it may look like it is standing in a windy weather or has a small belly. The glaze is hand-painted and small human imperfections are everywhere on our flags. These differences help to make your flag personal and are not to be considered errors.

The original ceramic flag
The first ceramic Dannebrog table flags were created in 2019 in connection with South Jutland preparing to celebrate the 100th anniversary of reunification in 2020.
Annemette: "During a brainstorm, I visualized this small piece of pottery that depicted a small ceramic flagpole on a beautifully set summer table. I knew almost immediately that it had great potential and I had never seen anyone else do it, so I really had an original idea that also fit really well with my playful approach to design."
