We make them as best we can and promise that your flag will have the very special 'quirky' and charming look like all the other flags from our workshop.
Production time incl. shipping. approx. 3 - 8 business days. We produce all special orders every Monday. They must be fired 1-2 times in the kiln for approx. 16 hours and therefore we send special flags the following Tuesday and Wednesday - latest Thursday. We will contact you by text message if we have any questions about your order or if a problem has arisen.
You can also choose a double flag with, for example, the Dannebrog on one side and the flag of another country on the other side.
Choose between 2 sizes: 16 cm or 21 cm.
A personalized flag cannot be exchanged or canceled unless there has been an error on our part.

♥️ TheClayPlay is about fun ceramics with beautiful, colorful glazes and high-end designs. We insist that each piece of pottery should be as personal and relevant as we humans. All flags are of course handmade and hand-glazed. We are proud of each piece of ceramic flag and we have thought about how it can be completely special and beautiful. We love diversity and inclusiveness - for us, that is typically Danish.
♥️ Annemette Klit is behind the design of these ceramic flags. She was the first to produce ceramic flags in 2019 and she developed the first ceramic flags in connection with the 100th anniversary celebration of the reunification with South Jutland. Annemette still produces the original ceramic Dannebrog flags in her workshop.
♥️ All flags are handmade and each flag has its own expression, for example, the pole may lean slightly to one side, it may look like it is standing in a windy weather or has a small belly. The glaze is hand-painted and small human imperfections are everywhere on our flags. These differences help to make your flag personal and are not to be considered errors.

The original ceramic flag
The first ceramic Dannebrog table flags were created in 2019 in connection with South Jutland preparing to celebrate the 100th anniversary of reunification in 2020.
Annemette: "During a brainstorm, I visualized this small piece of pottery that depicted a small ceramic flagpole on a beautifully set summer table. I knew almost immediately that it had great potential and I had never seen anyone else do it, so I really had an original idea that also fit really well with my playful approach to design."
