TheClayPlay is about fun everyday ceramics with beautiful, colorful glazes and high-end design. We insist that each piece of pottery should be as personal and relevant as we humans. All flags are of course handmade and hand-glazed in Sønderborg. We are proud that real people here in Denmark have sat with this particular flag in their hands and thought about how it can be completely special and beautiful. We love spaciousness - for us, that is typically Danish.

(We also make custom flags. There are flags with a name and date of birth or baptism at the bottom of the flag. You can order these name flags under the "Name flags" tab. Please note that the production time is up to 4-5 weeks for a name flag).
♥ All flags are handmade and each flag has its own expression, for example, the pole may lean slightly to one side, it may look like it is standing in a windy weather or here has a little belly. The glaze is hand-painted and small human imperfections are everywhere on our flags. These differences help to make your flag personal and are not to be considered errors. We make an effort to take photos as accurately as possible, so you can see what the flag looks like before you buy it.
♥ Annemette Klit is behind the design of these original ceramic flags. She developed the flags in connection with the 100th anniversary of the reunification with South Jutland and produces them today in her ceramics workshop in Sønderborg.
