TheClayPlay is about fun everyday ceramics with beautiful, colorful glazes and high-to-the-ceiling designs. We insist that each piece of pottery must be as personal and relevant as we humans. All flags are of course handmade and hand-glazed in Sønderborg. We are proud that real people here in Denmark have sat with this particular flag in their hands and thought about how it can be really special and beautiful. We love spaciousness - it's typically Danish for us.

There are flags with a name and date of birth or baptism date at the bottom of the flag. You can order these name flags under the tab "Name flags". Please note that the production time is up to 7-8 days for a name flag).

♥️ All flags are handmade and each flag has its own expression, for example the pole can lean slightly to one side, it can look as if it is standing in windy weather or has a small top belly. The glaze is hand painted and small human biases are all over our flag. These differences help to make your flag personal and are not to be considered errors. We make an effort to take photos as accurately as possible so you can see how the flag looks before you buy it.

♥️Annemette Klit is behind the design of these original ceramic flags. She developed the flags in connection with the 100-year celebration of the reunification with Sønder Jutland and produces them today in her workshop in Copenhagen.
